What a special treat it was for Matt and I to go back to our wedding destination for our one year anniversary – The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. Nestled away at the base of Cheyenne Mountain, this historic Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond resort is like no other.
M and I spent the Fourth of July weekend away at The B, reminiscing on all of the magical moments from our wedding weekend just the year before. On the evening of our anniversary, we set up a picnic on the banks of Cheyenne Lake, directly beside the West Tower Lawn – where we were married. To make the evening all the more special, we had our wedding photographer Nick Sparks meet us to capture this special moment – complete with a bottle of bubbly, a charcuterie board, and a gluten-free anniversary cake.
